Baguio City
What used to be one of the cleanest and greenest highly urbanized city in the mid nineties is now among key areas
in the Philippines needing attention particularly on environment management.
The World Bank named Baguio as among the most polluted city in 2003 and now, it has to comply with the Clean Air Act
and the Solid Waste Management Act or else it loses its status as a prime tourist destination.
Today, CNA undertakes environmental programs through the Baguio Regreening Movement and coordinates other advocacy projects
with the Philippine Information Agency-Cordillera.
Above photo shows a mountain city turning into a concrete jungle. The montage picture shows CNA in its coordinative activities
like forums, dialogues, and plays involving the Cordillera Youth Theatre Group.
